Welcome to the home of the Suffolk Science Festival.  Whether you like Science, Maths, Computing and Engineering or not, come and take a look at the free exhibits, stalls and stands for you to visit.  We know how to bring Science Alive and for families this is the place to be on the 12th and 13th of March this year.

As you can imagine with Covid 19 and Social Distancing we have decided that for 2022 this should be a smaller event and that we should bring you the full Suffolk Science Festival in February half term 2023.  So for this year we are holding the event over a weekend and it will be in Ipswich Town Hall and at our newly opened science centre in Claydon, Ipswich.  Watch our facebook page Suffolk science festival and Kinetic Science to hear what is happening where and how to take part.

Space are we alone?

The Science Festival is brought to you by Kinetic Science – check us out:  –  www.kineticscience.co.uk

All of the exhibits are open to the public and we have science workshops and exhibits of all topics at several locations and so you do not need to be interested in Science to come along and join in as there is something for everyone.

In 2022 we will be looking at combining this with the opening of our Science Interactive centre and so will include more themes along the line of Astronomy.  In 2023 we are launching “Creative Reactive” which is a combination of art and science and so there will be some craft activities as well to occupy those who are into art rather than science.

Some of the events, workshops and talks will need to be booked in advance and are ticketed and have a small fee attached. Check out our facebook page for regular updates:            facebook: suffolk science festival
