Welcome to the home of the Suffolk Science Festival. Whether you like Science, Maths, Computing and Engineering or not, come and take a look at the many free exhibits, stalls and stands for you to visit. We know how to bring Science Alive and for families this is the place to be at the start of the February school holiday.
Building on the success of the second Suffolk Science Festival in February, we are back, bigger and better than before! With the Festival over four central locations throughout the town of Bury St. Edmunds there is so much to see and do. The Festival runs each day from Saturday the 15th to Wednesday the 19th February 2020. This year our Theme is Human Biology and how as humans our bodies work and move. There will be a science themed trail around the venues for you to join in and the cards for the trail will be available at each venue – wherever you begin! At the last location you visit, once your Trail card is complete you can leave your card with us and enter a draw for some family prizes.

The Science Festival is brought to you by Kinetic Science – check us out: – www.kineticscience.co.uk
All of the exhibits are open to the public and although there is a “body Parts” Trail, each location has science workshops and exhibits of all topics and so you do not need to be interested in Science to come along and join in as there is something for everyone.
This year we are including our Toddler Zone and so a few activities at one of the venues for the little ones. Also we are launching “Creative Reactive” which is a combination of art and science and so there will be some craft activities for a small charge to cover materials. It will be a drop in session and will run approx 11am – 3pm each day.
Some of the events, workshops and talks will need to be booked in advance and are ticketed and have a small fee attached. We have so much fun planned for this event and so do join our facebook page for regular updates: facebook: suffolk science festival
We look forward to welcoming you to the Festival brought to you by Kinetic Science
